Social networking. 5 years ago social networking did not exist. Well maybe it did but not to the extent and sophistication of present day social networks such as Facebook ,Twitter and Youtube.
In this day and age, people can get famous on a more guerilla and viral platform. Vbloggers are the new celebrities on the internet. If you have a quirky insight, a pretty face, a decent video camera and some editing techniques you could probably become famous online!
Take for example, Natalie Tran, she’s a normal above average looking Asian girl who resides in Sydney Australia, who makes Video blogs with reasonably cheap video and editing equipment. She already has over 3 million hits on all her videos!
Crazy but its true. people spend more time viewing her than some of the hollywood celebrities.
Im just surprised that no MNC has approached her to to sponsor her blog. Perhaps she has been approached but maybe she has possibly declined. Props!
If she was in Singapore, she would probably be invited to countless social events and sponsors would approach her from all angles. Natalie Tran has funny insights and quirky insights to share.
